Tuva has not yet announced the official results of Sunday voting in contrast to the other eight regions of Russia in which parliamentary election took place, and in which the election results were made public on the next day after voting. This situation was severely criticized by Alexandr Veshnykov, head of the Central Election Commission of Russia at the press-conference following the Sunday elections. Veshnykov said that the largest number of law violations throughout election campaign was fixed in Tuva, where firstly observers were not let into the Republic, then on election day an anonymous man three times reported to the militia on a bomb at a Kyzyl poll, a chief of an election poll station in Kyzyl was detained when trying to steal a hundred of bulletins, etc.

Sixteen deputies into the Legislative Chamber of the Great Khural have been elected by party lists (preliminary results: United Russia - 46%, Life Party - 32%, other parties have not overcome 7% barrier) and the other sixteen - by one-seat constituencies.

One hundred and thirty deputies into the Representative Chamber have been elected only by one-seat constituencies.
