For some reason there is not one of the most ilmportant part of the programme mentioned: Throatsinging band Hogzhumtshu lead by ex-Huun-Huur-Tu member Andrej Mongush played several songs. Awesome performance!

Hello and thank you for the very insightful information on this website.

I am hoping that someone can help me with my enquiries. I work for a publication that is trying to locate contact details for Shamans in Tuva, particularly the President of the Tuvan Society of Shamans or a representative. This is in regards to writing an article to promote their work in a new publication. We are also trying to locate further information about the Buryat Shamanic Gathering that takes place annually on Olkhon Island in Baikal. Does any one know what the size or strength of the" Tuva peoples revolutionary army" was in 1941 when Tuva declared war on Germany? and are there any photos of Tuvan soldiers? Pete.
