More likely a reindeer doe; as far as I know, musk deer are not domestic livestock. But I have seen "vazhenka" used for a young ewe.
Obviously, words like that do not show up in normal dictionaries, and there may be regional differences of usage.
I am working on it.

Re. 'vazhenka' - they are probably Siberian Musk Deer, females being called 'does'.

WHO CAN HELP ME?
Since a couple of years I am looking for a special postal stamp/souvenir sheet from Tuva. This souvenir sheet consists of 10 single samps showing 40 dog-breeds.
Maybe I can find on this guestbook a stamp-collector who could help me.
Looking forward to hearing from Tuva again.

However needs an actual bibliography about Tuva may ask for a copy (see email-adress).
It contains 15 pages of booktitles - and partly articles - in German libraries concerning Tuva, mostly in Russian, English and German.
The list is not complete but quite sufficient for many purposes.
