Tuvan Buddists to Attend Dalai Lama's Lectures in Mongolia |

His Holiness Dalai Lama XIY is expected today in Mongolia for an eight day visit. For buddhists coming from the three Russian republics -- Tyva, Kalmykia, Buryatia -- it is a unique opportunity to meet the head of the buddhist hierarchy for the Dalai Lama, who has been refused a Russian visa several times for the last few years.
The Tuvan delegation headed by Kamby-lama of Tyva Djampel Lodoi went to Ulaan-Baatyr to attend His Holiness' lectures.

Monday, August 21
3-5 p.m. - live TV broadcast of Dalai-Lama's lectures from his residence in Ulaan-Baatyr Tuesday, August 22
11 a.m.-5 p.m. - visit to Gandan monasteries,
Wednesday, August 23
11 a.m.-2 p.m. - teaching based on Tsonkapa's text. Central Stadium, Ulaan-Baatyr. (translation into Rusian)
Thirsday, August 24
3-6 p.m. - teaching based on Tsonkapa's text. Devotion to White Tara. Central Stadium. Ulaan-Baatyr.
Friday, August 25
8 a.m.- 5p.m. - vestuture into monks. Gandan monastery.
Saturday, August 26
10 a.m.-5 p.m. - preliminary rituals preceeding Khayagriva dedication. Gandan monastery.
Sunday, August 27
10 a.m.- 00.30 p.m. - preliminary rituals preceeding Khayagriva dedication. Gandan monastery.
1.30 p.m. - Khayagriva dedication
5 p.m. - praying for Dalai-lama's long life
Monday, August 28
Departure from Ulaan-Baatyr.
