Ai-Churek Shamanic society "Tos Deer" (Nine Heavens) has launched its official web site on the Internet. Today on shaman.shude.ru one can learn about the community's Shamans, their leader Ay-Churek (Moonheart), shamanic seminars and tours. The site is developed by web-designer Valeri Irgit. In total there are over 6 official Shaman societies in the Republic of Tuva. They take route from the first ever officially registered in Tuva Dungur (Drum) society. Tos Deer head-quarters is on the Yenissey bank and 10 meters away from the Centre of Asia statue. It is why it is oftener than the others visited by foreigners and tourists from Russia.

Tuvan shamanism became familiar to the Westerners after the First International Shamanic Symposium took place in Tuva in 1993 with the help of Finnish ethnographer Heimo Lappalainen.

According to Mongush Kenin-Lopsan, Shamanic President of Honour, there only 30 shamans in Tuva at present who have their magic don confirmed by the colleagues.
