The Tuvan expedition of the automobile extreme club OffroadMaster from Novosibirsk has finished.

This year, 20 groups participated, including those from Ekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, Tomsk, and Zheleznogorsk. As the leader of the expedition, Yelena Dmitrieva told the NGS.NOVOSTI, the participants of the trip reached the final point of the route on January 5, when they got to the abandoned fortress of the Uighur kagan.

“The expedition was very successful. We did not have any major breakdowns, just a few small things – shock absorbers and tubes broke, because it was really cold. We reached our goal - we got to the Por-Bazhyn fortress, even though everybody said that we won’t be able to get there,” said Yelena Dmitrieva.

The Trophy-Expedition to Tuva, “Secrets of the fortress Por-Bazhyn” took the route Novosibirsk – Abakan – Kyzyl – Saryg-Sep – Kungurtug. The entire length of the route was 3100 kilometers. The automobilists happily returned to Novosibirsk on January 10 in the evening.

Let’s add that the next expedition will take place a year from now.
