Tsagaan-sar, the holiday of White Moon (Shagaa in Tuvan) is one of the most beloved holidays in Mongolia. Besides the traditional athletic contests and holiday prayer services, a great concert, dedicated to the Lunar New Year, took place in Ulan-Bator.

This is the first time that this concert had international participation, including artists from Inner Mongolia (China), and the Buddhist republics of Russia.

Tuva was represented by the famous singer and actor, Saydash Mongush. The national television of Mongolia broadcasted the program on the first day of the New Year.

The live performance created a special atmosphere, especially the symphonic orchestra and state ensembles, as announced by the GTRK “Tyva” information service.

The organizers of the concert are confident that similar international projects will serve

to strengthen good neighborly relationships of the nations, and mutual interchange of cultural and artistic ideas.
