Schoolchildren of Kaa-Khem district of Tuva, which suffered the most from earthquakes, will undergo rehabilitation

Schoolchildren from Kaa-Khem district of Tuva, which was subjected to a whole series of earthquakes and aftershocks are going to undergo rehabilitation in children's recreation camps. These are instructions given to Ministry of education and science given by the head of the region, Sholban Kara-ool, at a meeting of republican commission for liquidation of consequences of the earthquake, as the press-service of the government announced.

As the minister of education and science, Organa Natsak announced, children will be able to recreate in local recreation camps and rehabilitation centers as well as outside of the republic. Currently the matter of additional travel tickets to recreation camps "Orlyonok" and "Okean" is under discussion, for school kids of Kaa-Khem district.

Many children were traumatized by the stress from repeated seismic events. Two little children were admitted to Saryg-Sep hospital with hysterical fits after the 8-point earthquake. None of the adults were able to calm them down and stop them from crying.

In the first days after the earthquake of 26 February in Kaa-Khem district, psychologists from Ministry of healthcare and Ministry of education were at work, and psychologists from "Saizyral" center from Kyzyl were brought in. A team of specialists from "Antistikhia" center of MChS of Russia was also deployed.

The older children from the worst-hit schools of Kaa-Khem kozhuun will be at the concert of singer Valeriya. The star of Russian estrada will be coming to support the residents of the republic after the earthquake.
