Fifty children from Tuva suffering from seismophobia will rehabilitate at "Orlyonok"

The leaders of Tuva will send 50 children who were most affected by the earthquakes and are suffering from seismophobia to a Russian camp "Orlyonok" in April, as announced by regional administration. On orders of the head of Tuva, Sholban Kara-ool , Ministry of education and science worked out the matter with federal ministry about assigning 50 tickets to the Russian camp "Orlyonok". Little kids from Kaa-Khem district of the republic , who have been diagnosed with seismophobia, are expected to undergo courses of rehabilitation, - states the announcement.

The work regarding another 50 tickets to a children's recreation camp "Okean" continues, according to information by the regional ministry of education. The leaders of Tuva note that the administration of the Kaa-Khem district has already prepared a list of children who are to go to the camps in April.

Psychologists in Tuva have documented earlier chronic state of fear in 94 schoolchildren, connected with the recent earthquakes, which took place in December and February. Specialists continue to show psychological help to children and adults, whose psychological condition shows signs of strong stress and seismophobia.

Two strong earthquakes took place in Tuva over the few recent months. The first earthquake of 6.7 magnitude with 8-9 points in the epicenter, on 27 December 2011 took place in Kaa-Khem district of the republic, 100 kilometers east of Kyzyl, at a depth of 10 kilometers. The epicenter of the second earthquake, with magnitude of 6.7, which took place on 26 February was at approximately the same location. There were no human casualties.
