The entire last week temperatures in Tuva stayed at or under -40 degrees centigrade ( @ -40 degrees Fahrenheit). The cold was especially brutal in Erzin, Shagonar, and Saryg-Sep.
The second half of this week could also bring some snow to the republic. Curent air temperature in Tuva is minus 30 to 35 degrees, 35 to 40 in some locations.
