Music Researcher from Tuva Proves Scientifically Originality of Tuvan Music

Famous Tuvan musicologist Valentina Suzukei is now finishing her scientific work 'Musical Culture of Tuva in the 20th century'. The main idea of this research states the originality of Tuvan music which cannot be structured in accordance with the common European standards. It will also be illustrated by a short film what in the author's opinion is of great importance as by means of three-dimensional graphics she can vividly show the specific features of the Tuvan music and what differs it from the European one. The author draws many examples illustrative of this fact, one of them is numerous attempts to improve Tuvan traditional instruments making them more suitable for playing classical music.The film will be accomplished with the help of swiss scientist Jil Silberstein providing its translation into foreign languages and Valeri Irgit, web-designer.
