A new album by Sainkho and 'Tri O' is going to come out in May. 15 years ago the Tuvan singer, then a student at the folk department of the Moscow Musical college, was invited by Sergei Letov to make part of 'Tri O' playing free jazz. From that time on Sainkho is known as a free jazz star. During one of the first foreign tours of 'Tri O' she settled in Europe, Sergei Letov and the group went back to Russia. This year their close collaboration was renewed. They performed together in January in Moscow clubs and now the album. It was prepared at Leo Records-UK and is titled 'Old streets of Saint-Petersbourg'. 'Petersbourg is a spiritual and intellectual heart of Russia. Here old and new influences of culture blend together in a very fine and delicate way, say the singer. It comprises the best pieces of the 'Tri O'. After the album is released 'Tri O' is planning a promotion tour in Russia in September.
