Naadym in Tuva has started with the awards ceremony in the Drama theatre. The best Tuvan shepherd in 2004 according to an inofficial 'chaban' (shepherd) contest carried out by the Agricultural Ministry is Anatoli Dongak from the state-farm 'Togralyg' (Oviur district). He was presented with the 'UAZ' truck. The horse-races took place at the water-spring of Tos-Bulak, 9 km to the South of Kyzyl.
