From end of March S7 Airlines will start the regular daily flight 1163/1164 Volgograd – Moscow – Volgograd, using a Boeing 737-500. The flight will depart Moscow at 08:25, arriving in Volgograd at 10:10; with the return flight leaving Volgograd at 11:35 and arriving in Moscow at 13:20. “With the introduction of a second daily flight, our passengers will have more possibilities when planning their journey, and using the Boeing 737-500 aircraft we are able to offer our passengers attractive fares and a comfortable flight,” said Nikolai Ratushny, the director of S7 GROUP’s Southern Branch. As part of S7 Airlines’ program to modernize its fleet of aircraft, 10 Boeing 737-500 aircraft were leased in 2005, and are used for flights from Moscow on domestic routes (Sochi, Rostov-On-Don, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Chelyabinsk, Magnitogorsk, Novosibirsk, Nizhnevartovsk) and also for flights to Germany, Armenia and Ukraine. The Boeing 737-500 is designed to hold 104 passengers: 8 in business class and 96 in economy class. The aircraft features a spacious cabin, low noise level inside the cabin, as well as other advantages that ensure a comfortable flight. The aircraft have been painted using a color scheme in accordance with the airline’s rebranding program. Since February 2005, tickets on all the airline’s routes are available for purchase online at s7.ru. The site can also be used to check the timetable, availability and fares.
