Artur Mongush, a Tuvan pilot who died in a helicopter crash in Kemerovo region, was buried in his hometown of Kyzyl. His funeral was organised by his former colleagues from the Tuvan Airlines detachment.
He was very happy a year ago to know that following his application for a job in a huge coal-mining enterprise 'Yuzh-Kuzbass-ugol' in the Kemerovo region, he was given a job with a stable and good income. His family moved from Kyzyl to Kuzbass.
On September 13 at 6.53 p.m. at an altitude of 50 meters, the engine stopped working, from what Artur managed to report to the dispatcher on on the ground, causing the helicopter to fall from the sky. Pilot Artur Mongush, 'Yuzh-Kuzbass-Ugol' Director General Vladimir Lavrik, and his bodyguard Evgeni Sabelnikov died.
The head of the Kemerovo region, Aman Tuleev, expressed his condolescences to the families and relatives of the perished men.
Artur Mongush's widow and his two sons, the youngest fourteen years old, are moving back to Kyzyl.
