Albert Kuvezin, world-famous Yat-kha group leader, signed a contract for a soundtrack of 'On Chigiskhaan's Will' film, IA Regnum reports. The film is based on a novel by Yakut writer Nikolai Luginov. The film crew headed by Andrei Borisov, famous Yakut theatre director and culture minister in the Yakut government, this summer had been filming in Tuva. For over a month it filmed battle scenes for the film 'On Chingis-Khaan's Will' in which Tuvan actor Eduard Ondar plays the main role.
He was chosen out of a dozen of other actors to interpret the image of the legendary Mongol warrior.
Theatre stars of other ethnic countries in Russia are engaged in the film project, which is financed by the Yakut government and sponsors. Andrei Borisov managed also to gain interest in his large-scale movie from stars from China, Mongolia, USA and Japan.
This summer in Tuva they shot Naiman-Mongol war scenes with 200 horses and riders involved in them. However, the weather in Tuva did not favor the crew much. It rained most of the time throughout the month-long film expedition.
