Parliamentarian Tibet Support Group has been formed by the House of Representatives of the Great Hural of the Republic of Tuva, according to the latest press release by the Tibetan Parliamentary Secretariat. According to the statement the “Great Hural Parliamentarian Tibet Support Group” has been created “to co-operate with the Parliament of Tibetan Government-in-Exile vide a Parliamentary Decree under Article 65.2 and 65.3 of Charter of the House of Representatives of Great Hural of the Republic of Tuva”. According to the statement; in a letter dated January 19, 2008, the deputy Speaker Mrs Gyari Dolma had, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Tibetan Parliament, expressed gratitude to Mr Khonuk-ool Mongush, Chairman of the House of Representatives of Great Hural of the Republic of Tuva for the creation of the Parliamentarian Support Group for Tibet.
“This is yet another expression of world-wide admiration and support to His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the noble cause of the people of Tibet,” Tibetan Parliamentary Secretariat noted in its press release dated, January 21, 2008.
