Kyzyl-born Roman Senchin, 34, has been included into the list of the 13 best young writers of Russia made up by Kommersant news-papers. The idea of the list of the promising authors was prompted to the popular Russian news-paper by the Granta List of young hopes of Britain aged under 40 made up every ten years starting from 1983. The Russian baker's dozen includes among others Evgenii Grishkovets, Dmitri Bykov, Julia Latynina and Roman Senchin. Senchin studied ABC of the fiction writing under Svetlana Kozlova's guidance in the Kyzyl poetic circle. Kozlova, a born moscovite, settled in Tuva after the war-time. She worked in the 'Tuvinskaya pravda' and was a well-known poet and an interpreter of Tuvan verses into Russian.
