Bogdo-Gegen Visited Tuva for the 3d Time

Bogdo-Gegen the 9th came to Tuva on the 15th of August. This is his 3d visit to the republic in the very centre of Asia. Earlier this year he underwent a serious operation but in spite of it he decided to visit Russia in the year of Dala-Lama's jubileum. He is to carry out the ceremonies of devotion to Budda Avalokiteshvara and to White Tara. Today he met during the visit the Tuvan Prime-Minister. Sherig-ool Oorzhak said that with the help of offerings from Tuvan buddists a new monastery in India will be constructed.
