sports centre in his native town belongs to Sergei Shoigu, Emergency Situations Minister of the Russian Federation. He promised to find 150 mln rouble (5 mln dollars) needed to carry out the project. It will take only half a year to be implemented in accordance with the new technologies and will present by itself a huge construction with an ice arena for hockey and figure skating and a football field and track and filed athletics. The new complex is to be constructed near the old bridge in the park zone thus the idea split the Kyzyl society in two parts: those who are wholly pro the sports centre and those who think it will ruin the park and the beach on the Yenisey bank. A picket in support of the new sports centre was held in Kyzyl.
