Ayas Mongush Proved to Be the Strongest Khuresh Wrestler of Tuva

Ayas Mongush has taken revenge on his constant rival and friend Maadyr Mongush at the Naadym khuresh competition and became its winner for the 14th time. 256 wrestlers took part in the most prestigeous sports event of the year. Everyone there was intrigued – would Ayas get back his title of the strongest in Tuva. In May this year Maadyr stopped invincible Ayas on his way to the victory in the semifinals at the Tournment for the 'Shyn' news-paper prize. But in the final he was defeated by young wrestler Andrei Khertek who became the winner. This time again Maadyr and Ayas fought in the final. Ayas won and was presented with the 'VAZ' car ('teenth' in his sports carrer). His runner-up Maadyr received a TV set which he promised to pass over to an orphanage in Tuva. This noble gesture is characteristic of Maadyr and is always expected from Ayas but mainly without success.
